Augusta Best Inn

We stayed here for just a night. The front lobby was just okay and the front desk person seemed more like someone's parole officer or the runner of a halfway house, but he was pleasantly gruff. Fruit leftover from breakfast was greatly appreciated. I was immediately struck by the faux wood floors which I actually like better than carpeted floors because I think they can be cleaned better and you don't have to deal with ingrained dirt. The room and sink area was spacious and had cute toiletries. The shampoo was a little drying. It was awkward having the bathroom light be on the outside. Invariably, if I wanted to use the restroom while my husband was sleep, I would switch on the sink light by accident and disturb him. I liked the soft aqua wall color which was relaxing- and it had to be because, you could hear vehicles all night because it is off a couple of busy streets and an expressway. It's a motel, so the room opens onto the outside, so I'm sure that's part of why you could hear the roads so clearly. Parking is ample. Breakfast is sparse, but available. The front desk person the next morning was helpful, but terse. Before I left, the housekeeper returned something I had left in the room. Overall, it was a decent stay except for the the outside noise.

It was updated the AC was amazing!!! The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was basic but clean they provide you with shampoo and soap if you need it. It's right off Washington road. Across the street is circle k they also do not allow pets and they do have non smoking and smoking rooms as well. There are plenty of food places around for you to pick and enjoy.

I've been staying here for years while traveling for work. Solid economy stay and you can't beat the price! Service has always been great and the rooms are clean with hardwood floors, microwave, and fridge.

Not the fanciest place but the room was large and clean. The bed was super comfy as well. Very kind and helpful staff. Would definitely stay again if in the area

Was an overnight guest recently at the inn and it's definitely nothing fancy but if you're just looking to have a place to shower and sleep it will do just fine. The biggest highlight was definitely the staff member who was extremely helpful and kind. I ran into a few problems like my first room being uncleaned still but it wasn't a big deal and I got reassigned a new one immediately. There were some mysterious stains along the walls and the bath water did run red when I first turned it on. My TV was also only getting one channel. Honestly most of this didn't bother me cuz the bed itself was clean and the service was great.

Stayed 2 nights and was great besides being next to Taco Bell so you hear the drive thru speaker but that was fine. My wife was freaked out because on the bottom level when you walked out the door there was a Good Guy Chucky doll in one of the windows lol. But for the money for two night was great. Will of course be back whenever in the area again.
